  I had the reoccurring honor of serving on a panel with two other amazing student leaders, sharing insights into the Point Loma Nazarene University college living experience with the parents of incoming freshmen! During the panel, I had the chance to shed light on various aspects of university life – from navigating dorm life and fostering a sense of community, to juggling academics and extracurricular activities.

  I had the reoccurring honor of serving on a panel with two other amazing student leaders, sharing insights into the Point Loma Nazarene University college living experience with the parents of incoming freshmen! During the panel, I had the chance to shed light on various aspects of university life – from navigating dorm life and fostering a sense of community, to juggling academics and extracurricular activities.

  After the parent panel, I would transition to a panel in front of the incoming students who had the opportunity to fire off any questions that they had about life at PLNU. This was my favorite part as I was able to share the pros and cons of my Loma experience in a much more intimate setting.

  It was truly a rewarding experience to offer my perspective and engage in meaningful conversations that will undoubtedly ease the transition for both incoming students and parents alike!

  I was honored to receive this award - presented to a graduating senior of the DLS Scholarship program. During my years of undergrad, my interest of advocating and bringing awareness to minority groups quickly turned in to a passion and was a corner stone of my experience at Point Loma.

  I was selected to be part of a group of young Native American scholars to attend the semi-annual NAFOA conference in April 2022 which was held in Seattle, WA. It was a 3-day event, the first day specifically catered to my leadership cohort. We heard from MossAdams' National Practice Leader, Tasha Repp, former Deputy Mayor of Seattle, Casey Sixkiler, as well as other professionals that proudly represent their Native heritage in the world of business.
