Bowling Green, Kentucky Paul Dencil Wedge, Jr. 1938 — 2024 Paul Dencil "Denny" Wedge, Jr., age 85, died on June 20, 2024. Denny was born on November 13, 1938 to his late parents Paul Dencil Wedge, Sr. and Lillian Herrig Wedge in Fostoria, Ohio. He graduated from Point Pleasant High School in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and from Western Kentucky State Teachers College in 1961 with both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree. Denny was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. On July 4, 1964, Denny married Carol Sue Haskins, a union that lasted 55 years until Carol's death in 2019. Susan was a beloved mother, daughter, friend, and neighbor to everyone she encountered. Susan Carol Wilkinson was born at her Wilkinson Grandparents' home in the Brush Creek community of Casey County, Kentucky. Her father, Ancil Clifton Wilkinson, was serving in the Pacific Theater with the US Navy at the time, so her mother, Florence Evelyn Pullen, was helped by her in-laws until Ancil returned home after the war ended. Eventually, Susan and her mother moved to Louisville, Kentucky where Susan graduated high school. From there, Susan enrolled at the University of Louisville where she graduated in 1963 and... She was married to Thomas Layman for 65 years. They had two daughters, Laura (Ryan) Sell and Dessa DiGeronenio, six grandkids, Robert and Sydney Sell and Dominic, Dante, Dane and Delaney DiGeronenio, and a great grandson, Cooper Sell. JoDee was born and raised in the west end of Louisville to Muriel and Pete Schreiner. She graduated from Shaunee High School and married Tom. Franklin, Kentucky Dr. James Michael Pulliam 2024 Dr. James Michael "Mike" Pulliam passed away peacefully in his home in Franklin on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3,2024 at 2:00pm at Sulphur Spring Church. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 4pm until 8pm and Friday from 6am until 10am at the funeral home and from 12pm until service time at 2pm at the church. When asked how long they had been married, George's favorite answer was, "not long enough."
