What condenser coil to replace the original piece of this Bryant SYSTEM? (2024)

This is the outside condenser coil for air conditioner portion of the Bryant, Plus 95s, Evolution split system 16 seer Puron unit (original part) of the Duel Fuel Hybrid AC/Heat Pump manufactured in 2009 and installed to us by 2010. The condenser has never been replaced BUT now this leaking condenser requires complete replacement.
This is the original system and includes: heat pump, gas furnace, evaporator coil, and control (thermostat) to auto select the most economical fuel source based on feedback data thru the control (thermostat).
This repair is going thru a Home Warranty using a locally contracted rep. The1st replacement unit ordered could not be physically connected to the thermostat control due to their connecting 'end' incompatibility. Now a recommendation is in progress (maybe) and must be made by the contractor -to the Home warranty company- and the condenser coil needed (?) will be selected by the Home Warranty.
In order to prevent another delay by either party involved, I just need to know what replacement condensing units are known to be compatible and which would actually be professional recommended to replace this integral and interactive part of this entire hybrid system. And is this system still efficient enough for anyone to continue to make costly repairs to it -piece by piece?
I do know the model # and serial #'s of most of the system components if it would help. Just ask me if so.
Can anyone help answer this or perhaps tell me who to contact that might know how to help find the answer?
In the meantime there is no a/c...and its end of July in KY!!

Home warranty companies have an extremely poor reputation, for doing things like your experiencing.

Thank You for your advise..I agree I could get their low cash out option and pay the difference to get it repaired BUT - unless they want to do something that is not professionally recommended I will stand to save a lot of $ -hence the reason for the Home Warranty. If i can know what piece(s) are legitimately compatible for this repair then i can hold them accountable too.
I will be selling this home in a few years and I do not want to compromise the integrity of this system so I want to do the best within my budget

Yes it was originally Bristol 2 stage compressor. The compressor failed in 2016 and was replaced with Copeland Scroll 2 stage by HW.
This event I was told there was a leak in the condensing coil and compressor and it was not pumping freon. And that proper correction of the problem would be replacement. They attempted installation of what HW approved -Payne, model# PH14NB036000, 14 seer, 3 ton.
We have had some smooth repairs with contractors used by HW and also others that while nice people, were not so smooth or knowledgable. Have been using HW since 2014 and in my experience I DO KNOW it can be a huge hassle to deal with them. And the process to wait for repairs to HVAC in extreme temps is very distressing.
Like many other professions and employers, the experienced people who do the actual frontline work to help others are not appreciated or paid appropriately. It can create work apathy and dissatisfaction for the employee and poor outcomes for the end customer. But we know that there is profit made -often shared first from the top down. Insurance for health Care is same structure. We must have it for catastrophic financial wipe-outs. Id prefer to pay for services without paying the middle man to muddle and minimize project management just to make their profit. Wish things were different too.
