How do you get all the rods in fire red? ›

you have to look for the fishermen, which I think are located in Lavender town, Fuschia city, and another one in the same area. Old rod, Vermillion City. Good rod, Fuchsia City. Great rod, route that connects Lavender Town with Fuchsia Town, a house in the bridge.

The Good Rod (Japanese: いいつりざお Good Fishing Rod) is a Key Item introduced in Generation I. It allows the player to fish from bodies of water. The Old Rod is a weaker version of this item, while the Super Rod is more powerful.
