Horrible experience and will not be returning. Not only my manicure chipped already since Saturday, but I asked for my toes to be squared and this disappointed me a lot. Not only it came out horrible but they were so ruff doing my whole service (mani, gel pedi & eyebrows) to a point where I have told them that it hurts me and even jumped a few times during my waxing session. They don’t even give the nice short massages with lotion like before for the services and i was there for a little over 2 hours. Don’t recommend, save yourself the time & money.

I went today to get a pedicure, first time and last. I was helped by a young man who it was very polite and friendly, but unfortunately it was also his first day on the job. He tried his best, but it was not a good pedicure. The more experienced lady who took me first decided to get up and leave it to him to do it. I am very disappointed. They should train their new employees before giving them clients.

I came in here 2 weeks ago and spoke to a “manager” by the name of Jessica regarding a gift certificate purchased as a gift with the prior owner. She told me that the gift card would be honored. Because of that I then purchased another for the same person. When she came to redeem to old one she was told she needed to see the manager during the week not on the weekend. My mothers goes back on a Tuesday to then be told they will not accept the gift certificate. I went in personally to speak to the same person who immediately became defensive and started raising her voice. And proceeded to say o I forgot to say if it’s not on the list I can’t accept it! She would not even allow me to speak. I would have never spent another $200 with this business. She should have been completely honest instead of lying! The sign posted is below also! Nothing about it says there’s a list!

I don’t normally do this, but I’m highly upset with this facility. FIRST, they charged me $100 for a new UV gel set.. i did not say anything considering that’s very expensive for a new set with NO DESIGN. I’ve been getting UV gel sets for years!!!! SECOND, not even a week later i have 2 broken nails exactly where the tip attaches… While during my appointment, my finger hit the machine inside while drying and instead of the lady being nice and saying ‘”thats ok, we can fix it. she gave me an attitude and threw her brush down on the table” so angry LOL. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLACE

How long do simple nails take? ›

A basic manicure is the bread and butter of nail care. Here, your nails will be shaped, your cuticles pampered, and your hands massaged to relieve any tension. Then, a base coat is applied to protect the nail, followed by your chosen color and a shiny top coat to seal the deal. A basic manicure takes about 30 minutes.

Is $5 ok for a tip on a pedicure? ›

If you got great service, a $10 tip would be nice. A minimum of 20% would be decent for any type of salon service. Keep in mind that tips make up a large percentage of their income - especially if it isn't the owner performing the service. A $5 tip would be kind of low for a pedicure.

Are dip nails better than gel? ›

Dip powder can be thought of as a glue-based resin that hardens when exposed to air (just like, you guessed it, actual glue). Simply put, dip powder polymers are stronger than those found in gel polish, and, therefore, dip manicures will generally last longer — up to five weeks, if properly cared for.

What manicure lasts but doesn't damage nails? ›

A Gel Polish manicure is another option for a Nail Treatment that can protect and strengthen your nails and not damage them at all. It does require proper application in order to be healthy, and that is where a lot of women can have some trouble.

What manicure is least damaging to nails? ›

Choose soak-off gel nails instead of acrylic nails.

This means your own nails are less likely to crack. You'll want to ask for gel nails that soak off rather than ones that must be filed off.

How often should you get your nails done? ›

To really reap the benefits of these services, professionals suggest getting a manicure and pedicure every two to three weeks to keep your nails in the best shape possible. Within this time frame, your nails and cuticles will begin to dry and grow jagged and most nail varnishes or coats will also begin to chip away.

How often does the average woman get a manicure? ›

The frequency at which the average woman gets a manicure can vary based on personal preferences, lifestyle, and budget. However, it is common for many women to get a manicure every two to three weeks.

What's the difference between gel and acrylic nails? ›
